Help Ramblin Vewe Farm
The goal of Ramblin’ Vewe Farm’s Board of Directors is to make Ramblin’ Vewe Farm self sustaining in perpetuity. To this end we need to raise funds to increase our endowment to a level where the interest and dividends earned from investments make up the operating shortfall. The cost of maintaining Ramblin’ Vewe Farm is currently about $70,000 annually, including wages, maintenance, and reserves for capital equipment replacement. Income from the farm is about $35,000 annually, leaving an operating shortfall of approximately $35,000. Under current conditions the annual earnings on the Farm Trust endowment is not sufficient to supplement the earnings and we have had to use the Trust’s principle to support farming operations.
We need your help to reach our goal, “to protect and preserve Ramblin’ Vewe Farm with its working farm, rural landscape and beautiful woodland trails, so that future generations from Gilford and surrounding communities can enjoy what we have had the privilege of experiencing”. Please consider a donation or sponsorship of a trail or adoption of an acre. You may also want to consider including Ramblin’ Vewe Farm in your estate plans.
